FOR GEN 1-5. This spring is manufactured by Ghost Inc. This Super Power Striker/Firing pin springs are a must for all 45 ACP & 10mm GLOCKS. These bigger guns use 9% heavier firing pins but come with the lighter weaker 9mm firing pin springs which will eventually cause light primer strikes. These springs are also highly recommended for all other GLOCK models to insure the strongest primer strikes insuring that your pistol fires under the most extreme conditions.
You will feel about 1/2 pound heavier difference in your trigger pull weight. This spring is manufactured by Ghost Inc.

Punches Hard—No More Light Strikes!
Posted by ManicManiac69 on Oct 27th 2025
Running this 6.5 lb Super Duty Extreme Firing Pin Spring across all my Glocks—G19s, G26, G20s, and 29SF. No clones, all OEM. This spring hits hard and solves light primer strikes, especially in 10mm and .45 ACP builds. I use it in every Glock I own. It adds about half a pound to trigger pull, but the reliability tradeoff is worth it. I replace them every 1,000 rounds just to stay ahead of wear, and I keep the old ones as backups—haven’t needed them yet. If you shoot NATO, reloads, or anything with hard primers, this spring is a must.

Works Great in Taurus G2c!
Posted by Toby on Feb 26th 2025
I used this spring to fix/upgrade a new Taurus G2c (9mm). I was having a lot of failures to fire due to light primer strikes. This was a simple and easy enough fix. I clipped several coils off the new spring and swapped it with the original striker spring. Now the gun functions flawlessly!

Solved my light primer issue with reloads.

Solved my problem. Not much of a trigger pull increase and the break seams cleaner.
For the install, watch a video first. It tells you the proper tools to use. -
Ignites hard primers.
Posted by Marcel on Apr 17th 2023
Was having issues with the 5.lb striker spring not igniting hard primers in NATO Ammo. After installing the 6.5 striker spring and shooting a variety of NATO ammo things are good again. Recommended.

Fixed my light strikes
Posted by Kevin on Dec 19th 2022
Was getting one or two light strikes every 15 round magazine with my new (Oct 2022) Glock 17.5. Ammunition (Winchester white box) worked perfect in my hammer fired Beretta. The 6.5lb spring and 15 minutes and my Glock went through 100 rounds of the same ammo with zero malfunctions.
