   Made it a lot easier to actuate with no added movement. Try one and you'll see what I mean.

   I've tried a LOT of extended slide releases https://imgur.com/a/vfhvKh0 (see... not exaggerating), but always made my way back to the OEM extended. That is, until I found the bullet. This part has the smallest visible footprint on your gun while simultaneously giving more purchase area than any other on the market. It's up and back far enough to be out of the way for those using a really high grip and you'll literally never miss when going to actuate it. I've got some nerve damage on my thumb and can't always feel exactly where my thumb is touching, but this thing is positioned and shaped perfectly where I know just "throwing" my thumb out at it is going to get the job done a million times out of a million. Plus it's simply the most comfortable and just happens to also have the best price. I highly recommend it.

   If you have a short reach with your thumb, this will be a great up grade. I no longer have to rotate the grip to press the slide release. Just be aware of your thumbs when gripping as to not accidentally push up on the release while firing and lock the slide back!

   The extended Ghost slide release was exactly what I had expected. A used G23 took 30 seconds to install, a new G17 took about 10 minutes.
   Save yourself some grief and only slide the trigger pin out just enough to slip the release in place!
   No sweat!

   I swapped slide releases on a Glock 19 early Gen 3, and a Glock 42.
   
   Being an old fart with arthritis, I was finding that manipulating the OEM release was problematic. This 'button' design makes it much easier to lock the slide back, and much easier to release by thumbing the release. I have a hard time now doing a slide grab and release and now much prefer the thumb release method.
   
   The 'button' is not high enough to snag or cause inadvertent release or lockback.
   
   Installation was simple.

   Inexpensive upgrade that should have been done at the factory. Perfection my azz. Makes ol reliable a little nicer.

   I have the silver version of this on my Glock 27 and it works like a charm! I purchased this for my dads Glock 19 and now he's in love with it too. Releasing the slide and locking it back is so simple now. Product arrived a lot sooner than I expected as well.

    This slide release works well with thumb or fingers. Major improvement over the factory.
