Not Recommended for Duty
Posted by Lee on Mar 30th 2023
The tear-drop button is attached to the release by a hard-plastic tab. I could not get the button inserted even with a plastic mallet. In order to remove the tab if you ever wanted to disassemble the mag release, you need to access a very small window under the mag release. Given how hard it was to get the tab in, I can only imagine you risk damaging your polymer frame or the button itself if you needed to disassemble. I decided this was not a quality design and not built for long term use, certainly not designed for easy assembly or disassembly. There are other designs on the market that attach with screw or other mechanism. I chose not to install this and would not recommend it.

Perfectly fixes Gen 3's only fault
Posted by DotZei on Dec 14th 2022
One of the very basics for pistol competency is being able to actuate the controls without changing your grip after shooting.
I don't know what Glock was thinking with their tiny little nub of a mag release.
I've got large hands, and even the OEM extended doesn't work for me.
Gen 3s absolutely need a head with expanded surface area... not just a tiny nub that extends out a little further.
Ghost nails it with this part.
I would almost call this a "must buy" for all gen 3 owners.

Good mag release
Posted by David on Dec 8th 2021
I have not installed this yet, it is being wrapped for xmas. This is the second one though. Being left handed I use my trigger finger to drop the mag. The Glock release is small, and sharp. After a couple stages my finger gets really chewed up. This is much bigger and smooth. I do not know why a right hander would not like it.

Protrudes further out than an extended mag release
Posted by Rich L. on Nov 29th 2019
I was looking for a less sharp and less protruding mag release for my G17 than the extended release it came with, so purchased this product. While I like this flat button over the sharp edges of the extended release length, this button *adds* to the amount of length of the mag release. I did have to shave the bottom edge of this release slightly with some 320 grit sandpaper to get it into my pistol. This product helped half the problems I had with the mag release, and made the other half worse. I'll keep looking for something better.

Works as a greater upgrade product

Grinding down the sides of the magazine release lever makes for an even smoother release. Sticks out just right, without any bend.

Good stuff!

I'm a lefty and needed a larger, easier mag release for my gen3 G19. This fit the bill perfectly. It was a little hard to snap the button in - I should have sanded it a hair or used a bit of lubricant.
Makes competition reloads much quicker and easier.

Love it

When I first installed it, it rubbed a little on the frame. Nothing a little sand paper couldnt fix. Took some of the plastic off this piece with a 150, 220, then 320 sand paper. I then rubbed it with a loli pop rapper (for the wax on it) to make it slick. Installed it and it worked perfectly. I may have had just a minor defect piece. Works awesome now and cant live without it.
