As Advertised

Fit perfectly and works as advertised. Another great product from Ghost.

Had to bend it straight
Posted by Chris on Aug 25th 2018
Straight out of the package, it was bent slightly to the right and rubbed against the frame when I first installed it. After I bent it ever so gently to the angle it should be, it works fine although not perfect. I have numerous other Ghost parts - Ext Mag for 17's, Slide Stops, 3.5lb connectors - and they all dropped in perfectly, that's shy I ordered these parts for my 43

Definitely an improvement.
Posted by Edward on Jul 20th 2018
I will say this is definitely an improvement over the factory part, but I absolutely love the way the Glock factory ESR on my G19 is (very similar to stock but with a little nub near the back). Maybe I need to get used to the Ghost one. It definitely does what is advertised though. Also my only real criticism is that it definitely looks like an aftermarket part. It kind of clashes with the look of the rest of the pistol. But overall I like it and I don't use the slide release much at all anyways so it's not a huge deal.

Just what I was looking for

Appears well made and installation was a drop-in fit.
This is SO much better than the stock slide lock, especially for lefties like me. -
Best on the market
Posted by Greg Hopkins on Jun 8th 2018
Looked at the few extended slide releases on the market and was not happy with any of the others. The Ghost parts look similar to what Glock uses on the larger pistols and should offer on the G42/43 models. Looks like it belongs there and functions to "Glock Perfection" standards. Sticks out just enough to feel good when releasing the slide and not too much that it would interfere with fit in a holster. Highly recommend this part.

Must Have Addition!
Posted by Donnie on Apr 6th 2018
The perfect addition. Is just large enough to manipulate easily without sticking out too far. Easy to install. The stock release is too small (IMHO).

Just what the 43 needs

Best yet!!
Posted by Brandon on Mar 15th 2018
It’s perfect in my opinion. It doesn’t stick way out. The curved part is great I have no issue whatsoever quickly depressing and with ease. Also the same shape doesn’t get hung up on anything when I carry. Couldn’t be happier.

Way better than stock... Not perfect.
Posted by @the_well_armed_outdoorsman on Dec 26th 2017
If you want to use your slide stop as a slide release, the stock part just isn't going to let that happen. With essentially no texture and recessed into the frame, it's impossible. Pretty much the only options are this part from Ghost or the Vickers (Tango Down) part. I tried the Vickers... Their design coupled with the way glock designed the part means the slide stop can slide laterally into the frame and can actually interfere with the rounds feeding from the mag. Obviously, a problem... The Ghost slide stop is designed such that this is all but impossible. I generally think this is a much better design overall. However, only 4 stars because it's still a little hard to operate. The bump or bubble they stamp into it is about the perfect size, but it's very round and very smooth. So, it's still takes a pretty deliberate and thoughtful action to get the slide to release. A more pronounced ledge on top might help (think like, a backwards 7 vs the c shape it has now). That said, this is still the very best option anyone has for a decent slide stop for the glock 43.
