1. Thumb relief

   The added bump to the slide release permits the release to be actuated with far more ease than with the OEM part. I'm not an everyday shooter so I was finding the OEM release to be somewhat painful to the side of my thumb. The added bump is large enough to provide relief but does not interfere with my holsters. I purchased the stainless steel version and I really like the look & feel.

   This Slide Release is a perfect addition. It's not overly intrusive and it is a whole lot easier to lock and release the slide. I like the fact that it added no weight and is made of stainless steel. I recommend this to anyone who wants to upgrade their Glock.

3. Needs modification for Glock 42

   This ESR fits my Glock 43X BUT not with my Glock 42. I had to do some filing on the ESR so it would lock back the G42 slide. It does make it easier to release the slide after a magazine change. I measured with a micrometer and found the slide lock portion of the ESR was 1 mm longer than the Glock 42 OEM part.

   I have used the extended SS slide release for my Glock 43X for years. I recently had one have some issues. I sent a pic of the problem to their general email address asking if it could be replaced under warranty.
   
   I revived a call from the Ghost team telling me they were right then and there shipping me a replacement at no cost, as the product was covered under warranty.
   
   Solid group there at Ghost, they strive for an excellent customer service experience , and here is a great example.

5. Good product but not quite what I needed

   This extended slide release is quality built and does what it's intended for. With that said this would be exactly what I was looking for if ghost made this in a bullet forward configuration. I am a left handed shooter and bought a bullet forward slide release for my g29 and it completely made it a left handed friendly gun. I was hoping to achieve the same result for my G43X but this doesn't quite give the leverage needed for smooth left handed use.

   Super easy to drop in, a huge improvement over the stock lever for everyone, but especially for left-handed folks like me. For a leftie, easy to lock open the slide with a finger-swipe, and you right-handed people will drop the slide with super ease. I call it a must have. Going on all my Glocks.

   I've "Gucci" most of my Glock and ghost products never disappoint.. I purchased this product for my 43x.. after having issues with some extended slide locks on my other model I was skeptical but it runs great and it looks great and seems to be holding up really well..

   I usually order the Vickers Tactical stuff for my Glocks, but I prefer the ball on this ESR. Installed quickly and is just another great product Ghost Inc. sells.

   Since I already had S/S pins and slide lock, it seemed a good idea to have the same color slide release. It made a good addition to an already excellent pistol. I have purchased & used "Ghost" products for some time. They are excellent!

    No burrs or sharp edges.
