41. Awesome difference

    This slide release makes it much easier to drop the slide with only a fraction of the pressure required for the factory release. As the years go on my arthritis makes using “”cheaters” a way of life. This slide has helped immensely in my shooting enjoyment. The price made me buy this and I don’t see how quality could be any better. Not to mention the super fast reasonable shipping rate.

43. Must have for Glock

    The stock Glock slide stop works, but if you use it to release the slide after a reload, its very hard to press it down. The extended release makes it fast and certain. Also helps when trying to lock the slide back. Easy install, does not eat in the way and I think it is a must have modification! Don’t wait Until your life is in jeopardy, add this today.

    I was searching for an extended slide release that will give an additional "purchase area" to catch my thumb in order to facilitate the slide release . . . the little dimple does the trick! I was initially dismayed to find the product dismantled in the packaging (spring was separated from the extended slide release) but was able to affix it to the arm. The installation was quick & painless. I cycled the slide several times and was pleased how effortless it now is to release the slide with the Ghost Inc. G42/43/43X/48 ESR - EXTENDED SLIDE RELEASE. Kudos on a great product!

    Went to the range today to try it out on G43 and practice my emergency reloads and by far it was soo much easier to drop my slide every time. It wasn’t too big to interfere with my Safariland 7TS concealment holster, tier 1 holster and Safariland pocket holster.

48. G48 is easier to operate now

    You would think by now Glock would get the idea that slide releases should not be hard to use. This works great and is an easy install

    This release allows me to close the slide without "the death grip" to your thumb. I found that over a shooting session, the stock release tends to cause some thumb fatigue. Once this is installed, there's enough purchase on the lever to easily trip the slide closed whether using one or both hands. I haven't found the extra projection objectionable with holster clearance either -- it just works well.

    I had a brand new Glock 48 that just wasn't acting right. The slide wouldn't return to battery, lock stock and barrel when dry firing. None of the other Glock pistols I've ever been around did this. So I investigated by doing a detailed strip and found the factory slide release to be very rough. Edges were not smooth, some of the finish was wore off. Decided to replace with the Ghost ESR instead of dealing with Glock on a warranty repair, and it fixed the issue. This Ghost ESR is well crafted, not just a piece of metal slapped together. The finish is top notch - the picture on the Ghost website doesn't do it justice. If you need a new ESR or want the enhanced ergonomics, don't hesitate to get this one.
