    Works awesome. Huge improvement over stock. Easy to install. Should be first upgrade for every g43

    If you want to use your slide stop as a slide release, the stock part just isn't going to let that happen. With essentially no texture and recessed into the frame, it's impossible. Pretty much the only options are this part from Ghost or the Vickers (Tango Down) part. I tried the Vickers... Their design coupled with the way glock designed the part means the slide stop can slide laterally into the frame and can actually interfere with the rounds feeding from the mag. Obviously, a problem... The Ghost slide stop is designed such that this is all but impossible. I generally think this is a much better design overall. However, only 4 stars because it's still a little hard to operate. The bump or bubble they stamp into it is about the perfect size, but it's very round and very smooth. So, it's still takes a pretty deliberate and thoughtful action to get the slide to release. A more pronounced ledge on top might help (think like, a backwards 7 vs the c shape it has now). That said, this is still the very best option anyone has for a decent slide stop for the glock 43.

    Recently purchased the newly release Glock 43 9mm extended Slide Stop / Release after having waited a long time, seems as if there are so very few aftermarket parts available for this firearm.
    
    Up until now you had available to you the standard Glock release that came equipped on the gun and the Vickers.
    
    While I have not handled the Vickers I wanted something more pronounced and able to be tactically operated.
    
    Installation went smooth and straightforward and the alteration on the tab itself was very nice as compared to the small and tiny pad as provided in the original Glock design.
    
    I have yet to test fire this in the field, however dry fire operation seems to work very well and is very smooth.
    
    I do with the pad itself was slightly larger even still and possibly extended further to the rear as in the Aro-tek version giving additional feel and control over this part.
    
    Lastly the part is only available in black and would be nice if it was available in either a stainless or satin/silver to compliment the other aftermarket parts I have installed.
    
    Other than, this is a positive upgrade for this firearm!!!

64. Amazing Assist

    It’s works amazingly! I have smaller hands and it makes it a little harder to wrap my thumb around the frame and the slide feels to stiff with factory parts. This slide release makes me confident that I can get a hold of the slide release and send it home every time! Just an awesome product!

    So glad I went with this ESR over the Vickers. It made an absolute night and day difference over stock. Super easy to install as well.

    The factory slide release is a bit tough to operate without readjusting your grip. I wanted something that works better, but doesn't get in the way of concealed carry. This is a great product and I've loved all Ghost products I've tried so far.

    Easy to install. Works flawless. I consider it a must on all glocks
